It is important to stretch, strengthen and re-educate injured areas so that they can heal long term. Without rehab, the musculoskeletal system will usually not make a full recovery. Since every individual’s needs are different, we design treatment plans based on these specific needs.
Evaluation of each patient’s movement is critical in deciding how much muscular re-education a patient may or may not need. Often times, more acute issues will need less rehabilitation, while chronic or older injuries may require more extensive therapy since these issues have altered the body’s normal movement for some time. We look to educate our patients on how to improve their conditions, not only in our office, but with exercises they can do at home.
